Account, sign-in, and deleting your data
Magic links, email, retiring passwords, and the delete that actually deletes
Signing in
You sign in with your email: enter it on the sign-in page and a one-time link arrives. The link works once and expires in 15 minutes. The address is the one you gave when you joined; the link sent at the end of your build is what registers it.
Passwords are being retired. If you joined when a password was handed out, it still works from the collapsed option on the sign-in page, but set your email in Settings now: when passwords go, the link is the only way in. No email on file and locked out? Ask Michael.
Your email
Add or change your email in Settings. It is used for exactly three things: magic-link sign-in, billing receipts, and messages about your account. Nothing else, nobody else.
Deleting your account
Settings has a delete panel. Type DELETE to confirm and everything goes: your profile, resume, matches, documents, email, and waitlist history. This is a real, tested deletion, not a deactivation. Download any tailored documents you want to keep first; they are removed with the rest.
One narrow exception: an anonymous one-way fingerprint (a hash that cannot be turned back into your data) is retained to prevent abuse of free trials. It contains nothing readable.
