How to update your resume, and how often things refresh
Updating your resume
Settings has a resume panel: paste the new text (or upload a PDF) and your profile re-parses. Ranking, documents, and search terms all follow from the resume, so an update reruns the pipeline against the new version. If the new text fails to parse, your old profile is untouched.
Re-parses are metered by plan, because each one is the most expensive single action an account can trigger:

Resume lanes
One account can hold more than one resume, each for a different kind of role. A lane is a resume plus everything that follows from it: its own search terms, its own matches and ranking, its own tailored documents and pipeline. Lanes share your account's monthly AI budget, so a second lane roughly doubles what a refresh spends.
Add a lane from the Resume lanes panel in Settings: name it (lowercase letters, digits, hyphens) and paste the resume for it. It builds in the background and appears in the side nav when it is ready. A refresh rebuilds every lane; a lane whose build fails is shown as failed, never quietly left stale.

The cap applies when you add a lane. Moving to a smaller plan keeps every lane you already have readable and refreshing; it only stops you adding more.
Refreshing your matches
Your board refreshes when you ask. The refresh button on your board pulls a fresh batch once every 24 hours: it re-scrapes your search terms, re-ranks anything new and tailors documents for the top matches. Nothing runs between refreshes, so a board you have not refreshed shows the postings from your last one.
