The short version: it drafts, you decide.
1. What Commuter is
Commuter helps you search for jobs, evaluate fit against criteria you set, track your applications, and generate tailored application documents using AI. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you send it to an employer.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
3. Acceptable use
- Use Commuter for your own job search. Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute job-source data beyond what the Service displays with attribution.
- Do not upload content you have no right to use, or anyone else's personal data without their permission.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe the Service's security, or circumvent quotas.
- Do not use the Service to make false or fraudulent representations about your background. Commuter is built to keep documents grounded in your real history; using it to fabricate credentials is a breach of these terms and on you.
4. AI-generated content
Commuter uses AI to draft resumes, cover letters, and assessments. AI output can contain errors. Review and verify every document before using it. We are not responsible for the outcome of any application, interview, or employment decision.
5. Plans, credits, and billing
- Paid plans include a monthly allotment of credits; different actions consume different amounts (a tailored document costs more than a search or ranking).
- Credits reset monthly, do not carry over, and have no cash value.
- Billing is handled by Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: unhappy within 14 days of your first charge? Email us and we refund it, no questions. After that, refunds for unused time are at our reasonable discretion.
6. Your content and license
You own your resume and the documents generated for you. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service for you: store your content, process it through the sub-processors named in the Privacy Policy, and display it back to you. We claim no other rights and do not use your content to train models.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, 0pon, LLC's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, USA, and disputes belong to the courts located there.
10. Changes and contact
